Introduction

The Southeast Paddlers was formed in early 2005 by a group of flatwater canoe and kayak paddlers in and around Gainesville, Georgia. We found we have a few things in common, foremost of which is our belief in the benefits paddling brings to our lives. These benefits are:

  1. physical fitness

  2. mental fitness

  3. fellowship and fun

Having enriched our lives with these benefits, it is our desire to share them with you. We invite you to join us so you too may reap these benefits and help the sport grow and reach more people. One of the great things about this kind of paddling is it can be as easy or as challenging as you want it to be. Some of us are beginners or just paddle for the fun of it. Others of us have had the opportunity to travel around the United States and the world to compete nationally and internationally. In doing so, we have made great friends along the way. Take a look at our brochure for more information.

We have experienced paddlers and supporters and plans for the future. If you have never paddled a flatwater canoe or kayak, don't worry. We'll show you how, encourage you, and we'll all have fun doing it. Feel free to contact us to find out more. We're real friendly.

Balance your life with the Southeast Paddlers.
